UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has revealed his dream of appearing in the WWE, and says it’s inevitable he’ll work with the promotion in future.
Jones narrowly defended his title against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247, taking the victory via controversial decision.
The result has been subject to much scepticism, with many fans believing Reyes did enough to edge out the champion.
Next Move
It’s unclear what Jones’ next move will be, with talks of a move up to heavyweight and an ongoing feud with middleweight champion Israel Adesanya both stirring speculation.
But one dream that ‘Bones’ has outlined is to make the switch to pro wrestling at some point in the future.
There’s a long history of stars making the crossover, with names like Ken Shamrock, Brock Lesnar and Rhonda Rousey well-known in both the wrestling and MMA domains.

‘Inevitable’
And Jones says its a dream for him to follow in their footsteps and make his mark as a superstar.
“I think it’s inevitable,” Jones said (via Sports Illustrated).
“I’ve always respected WWE, and I feel like the sports can be so similar.”
And the 32-year-old believes he’s got what it takes to be a success in the ring as well as the octagon.
“I have the size and athleticism and the following to transition over really well,” said Jones.
“To get the opportunity to just show up, even as a special guest, would be a dream come true.”
On the Cards
With Jones athleticism, and the drama that’s followed him through his career, a WWE appearance could well be on the cards for the light heavyweight champ.
Would there be a new WWE superstar on the horizon?
